Headlines In The News 10 Years Ago 2008 – This year marks the 10th Anniversary of Adventure Damascus Bicycles. Since that cold winter day when the legendary Laughing Dog was discovered we have been driven to provide great friendly service at a great value to all those interested in the Virginia Creeper Trail and all that the Damascus, Va area has to offer. With the largest and longest running owner operated full service bike rental and bicycle shuttle service on the Creeper Trail we remain ready to serve you and your groups needs. So grab your family or bring a group of strangers and let us show you why we love what we do. New Faces at Both Places Adventure Damascus Bicycles and SunDog Outfitter have several new faces ready to greet you. Michael, Wild Bill, and Tom are still alive and kicking (at least I think Bill is) but we have added a few newer, younger, and prettier faces. Stop in and say hello to everyone. Just be careful with the one with the funny accent, he ain't from around here (but he is a good guy). Biking and Hiking Classes Offered Adventure Damascus Bicycles and Sundog Outfitter will be offering biking and hiking related classes during the next few months. Classes will consist of Basic Bicycle Maintenance Classes, Setting Up Camp, Women Biking and Hiking, Getting The Most From Your Gear, Go Green - Protect The Earth Gear, etc... There is no fee for these classes. Check back or call the shop to find out more. You can get a free T-shirt by attending. Join an Area Club of Interest Ever wonder how you can help a cause or meet people who share common interests? Join a club! Three local clubs come to mind. The Virginia Creeper Trail Club, the Northeast Tennessee Mountain Bike club and the Bristol Bird Club are looking for new members. Remember, think globally, act locally. New Creeper Trail Apparel Now in Stock Adventure Damascus has a new line of Virginia Creeper Trail t-shirts and hats. These items feature the new Creeper Trail train design. All of our designs are done “in house” and are great for promoting your favorite Rail-Trail, as a gift or souvenir or just as a comfortable way to show your trail loyalty. Check them out now. 2008 Reservations Accepted Now Adventure Damascus Bicycles and Laughing Dog Shuttle are now taking reservations for Spring, Summer and Fall bike rental and shuttle service. All the best dates are reserved first so get your group together and don’t delay. Saturdays are always the busiest days on the trail, so come early and come often.
