Burke's Garden Bike Tour 

Dates: August 14, 2004 (Saturday).

Cost: $40 includes all ground transportation from Damascus or Abingdon, map of the roads, tour guide and full van support. Bike & helmet rentals can be arranged at a special rate of $15 per person for the entire day.

Total mileage: About 17 miles. (Mileage may vary depending on the routes you take.)

New River Trail Bike Tour/Creeper Trail Bike Tour

Dates: July 18&19, 2004
Cost: $100 includes all ground transportation from Damascus or Abingdon, map of the trail, tour guide and full van support. Bike & helmet rentals can be arranged at a special rate of $15 per person for the entire day.
Total mileage: About 30 miles.
Ability Rating: Easy
Comments: Group size limited to 10 participants. We can help arrange lodging for your group or for individuals.

We'll start at Foster Falls at the headquarters of the New River Trail State Park and meander about 30 miles along the river to Galax Virginia.

The New River Trail follows the old railroad bed along the banks of one of the oldest rivers in the world. Tunnels, beautiful stretches of river-side riding, historic landmarks and a gentle grade make this a most enjoyable day of biking.
